LM 20 Luminance Meter – For testing automotive license plates

 The LM 20 has been specially developed for measuring the luminance of lighting for automotive license plates (number plates). The instrument is generally used for automated measurements with an AMS Goniophotometer.

The photometer focuses precisely on a measuring field of 25 mm diameter at a distance of 3.162 m.

An LED alignment device was developed to project the measuring field on the license plate dummy.

The DSP 10 Preamplifier of the LM 20 is connected to the AMS Controller which displays the luminance in cd/m². The measuring optics is either mounted on a stable tripod or on the TPU 10 photometer positioning unit which offers particularly user-friendly operation of the test setup.

Features:

• Display range up to 1,000,000 cd/m² with a resolution of 0.02 cd/m² in the most sensitive measuring range.
• CAN Bus provides connection to AMS Goniophotometer; display of measured values directly at the AMS Controller.
• LED alignment device facilitates targeting on measuring points.
