The Model 5112 can control any dehumidification operating system that requires 90-240 VAC at a maximum of 4 amps. The dehumidification system is plugged into the 3-prong North American outlet on the rear panel. The Controller applies power whenever the humidity is above the set point by 2% RH. The main power switch is located on the rear panel.
The Controller enclosure conforms to DIN 43700 and measures 3.78" W x 3.78" H x 3.35" D (9.6x9.6x8.5 cm). It can be placed on top or next to the controlled environment or mounted directly into a cutout on the front using the available mounting clips.
The Controller front panel consists of a 3½-digit LCD readout that continuously displays the relative humidity with 0.1% RH resolution, and when the Set Pt button is depressed, the set point. The set point is changed using the screwdriver adjustable, multi-turn potentiometer. The DEHUMIDIFIER ON/OFF switch enables the operator to override the controller and manually turn off the dehumidifier. A green LED indicates when the dehumidifier is activated.
